Bio
Dr. Jessica Pourian is an attending pediatrician and clinical informaticist at UCSF. She completed her undergraduate studies at MIT and began her career in healthcare consulting before attending medical school at UC San Diego. She completed her pediatrics residency at Brown University and now focuses on the intersection of healthcare and technology. Her informatics work centers on data privacy for sensitive health information, particularly in adolescent health and reproductive rights. She is also deeply interested in data visualization and the use of machine learning—especially large language models—to enhance clinical decision support for pediatric antibiotic stewardship.
